Advent and Song Festival in the Riga Cathedral

On December 9 at 19:00, a grandiose musical event will take place in the Riga Cathedral -
the concert “Advent and Song Festival in the Dome Cathedral” with the participation of the
legendary state academic choir “Latvia” under the direction of conductor Māris Sirmais. The
Latvian public will have a unique opportunity, in the Christmas atmosphere of the majestic
RigaCathedral, to hear famous works from the repertoire of one of the most famous and
recognized choral groups in the world.

The festive concert will also be attended by the outstanding pianist Daugmants Liepins, opera
soloist, tenor Artem Safronov, as well as the owner of a soulful, velvety soprano, opera diva
Inessa Galante and the brightest laureates of the “Talents of Inessa Galante” competition.
