The Bell Ensemble “SOLI DEO GLORIA” of the Cēsis Baptist Church was founded in 2009, thanks to the support of a sister congregation in Athens, Texas (USA). The ensemble brings together both professional musicians and music enthusiasts from various denominations and is led by Tabita Marhela, whose arrangements beautifully highlight the richness of handbell sound.
The group collaborates with choirs, instrumentalists, and soloists, performs at church celebrations, and is well known in the Vidzeme cultural scene.
During this Advent and Christmas season, the ensemble, together with cellist Ilze Petrovska and organist Līga Ivāne, invites you to a heartfelt concert featuring both traditional and contemporary Christmas melodies.
