Karolina Juodelytė (organ, Germany/Lithuania)

Programme: C. Franck, F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy, M. K. Čiurlionis, Enjott Schneider

Karolina Juodelīte (b. 1990) is one of the most vibrant organists of the young Baltic generation, whose international recognition began with her decisive victory at the prestigious Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis International Organ Competition in Lithuania (2011), where at the age of 21 she won First Prize along with six special awards. Since then, Juodelīte has become a dynamic and versatile artist, celebrated for her refined interpretations and artistic maturity across the Baltic region, as well as throughout Europe and Asia.

A significant boost to her international profile came with her participation in the recording ''Baltic Concerti'' (2018, Odradek Records), featuring Lithuanian composer Julius Juzeļūnas’ concerto for organ, violin, and chamber orchestra—an album that received a Grammy nomination in 2019. From 2018 to 2022, Juodelīte served as a lecturer at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and since July 2024 she has held the position of Director of Church Music at the Bernhard Lichtenberg Parish in central Berlin.
