Doctor of Music Tuomas Pyrhönen  is one of the most active Finnish concert organists. Pyrhönen has performed in 27 countries across Europe as well as in Armenia, New Zealand, the United States, and Mexico. Important venues include Riga Cathedral, Notre-Dame de Paris, St. Thomas Anglican Church, New York, and the Antiqua Basilica de Guadalupe, Mexico City. He has released four CDs, including Te Deum (Alba), recorded at Riga Cathedral in close collaboration with composer Pēteris Vasks. He has also been invited to perform this year Vasks’s music at 80th anniversary concerts in Helsinki, Riga, and Liepāja.
